MTA ITALIA was born in 2013 and was commissioned by the Italian Motorcycle Federation to manage the Italian Team in the Moto 3 World Championship for the following three seasons, from 2014 to 2016.

MTA ITALIA lines up Andrea Locatelli and Matteo Ferrari on Moto3 Mahindra, with SAN CARLO TEAM ITALIA.

The standard bearers of MTA ITALIA , in the team called 3570 TEAM ITALIA, this year are the already known Matteo Ferrari and the rookie Stefano Manzi. Since at the first race in Qatar, Manzi had not reached the 16 years scheduled for participation, MTA ITALIA makes another promising young man debut, Marco Bezzecchi.

For the third world championship and the second with the 3570 TEAM ITALIA, MTA ITALIA chooses Stefano Valtulini and Lorenzo Petrarca .

From the beginning of this season Alessandro Tonucci becomes Team manager and manager of the MTA ITALIA structure for the years to come.

For the first time MTA ITALIA participates in the CIV Moto3, deploying immediately 3 riders on Mahindra bikes, getting along the course of the season well 2 pole position, 1 victory and 4 podiums. It is a season of great beginnings for MTA ITALIA which in June participates in the Italian stage of Mugello in Moto3 World Championship with the wild card of Edoardo Sintoni and subsequently to Moto3 Junior World Championship in Valencia, both in July and November.

For this season MTA ITALIA is divided on two fronts: on the one hand the Italian one in the CIV and on the other in the CEV, in Spain.

In the Italian championship MTA ITALIA ranks in the Italian Moto3 as many as 7 riders out of the 23 on the grid, three co-managed with the TM Racing 3570MTA team, which achieves the championship victory with Kevin Zannoni, and the other four, instead, led directly by the 3570 MTA team. Not being satisfied with a simple category, MTA ITALIA also takes to the track in Premoto3 , obtaining a victory in Misano with Davide Cangelosi .

Between the stages in the Bel Paese, MTA ITALIA parallels the weekends of the Junior Moto3 World Championship co-managing with TM the TM Racing 3570MTA team, which takes care of two drivers. MTA ITALIA, on the other hand, alone with the 3570 team, MTA makes its debut Ryusei Yamanaka on KTM, in the last three races on the calendar, consistently placing in the Top 10.

In addition, the 3570 MTA team also participates in some wild cards of the European Talent Cup with 3 drivers.

The structure of MTA ITALIA is chosen by LEOPARD RACING for the management of two riders in the CIV Moto3 as TEAM LEOPARD JUNIOR ITALIA with Honda; throughout the season he managed to get 2 podiums and 2 pole positions.

In addition, again in the CIV Moto3, he participates alongside the MM team by co-managing three riders and obtaining a victory at Mugello with Maximilian Kofler , a wild card to replace an injured official rider.

Always alongside the MM team, he takes to the track in the CIV Premoto3 with Davide Cangelosi and Cristian Lolli . At the same time MTA ITALIA participates on a permanent basis in the FIM CEV REPSOL in the European Talent Cup , a renowned championship in the youth scene, with two drivers , with the colors and name of the MTA DINOIL team.

MTA ITALIA signs a direct and very important collaboration with the Reale Avintia Team, which will involve it from the Moto3 of Carlos Tatay to the Moto GP of Johan Zarco.

The structure directly managed by MTA ITALIA is developed at Junior Moto 3 World Championship with two pilots on KTM, Spinelli Nicholas and Fusco Raffaele, and two drivers in the European Talent Cup, the Swiss Noah Dettwiler and the Canadian Torin Collins.In addition to the Spanish commitments, MTA ITALIA also participates in the CIV Moto3 with only one driver, and expands the project by supporting the Tiesse Racing team ASD in the project “MTA Talent Experience“; a 360-degree training path aimed at very young people aged 5 to 14 riding mini-bikes.

MTA ITALIA takes to the track giving birth to the MTA ITALIA TEAM which will be present from the Italian championship of minimoto to the Moto3 Junior World Championship , passing through the CIV Premoto3 and the European Talent Cup .

A season of great results in all categories: from 2 poles and a victory in the minibikes, up to the title of Junior Moto 3 MotoGP vice-champion with Iván Ortolá, top rider of the season who conquers two poles and six podiums, over eight rounds.

A year full of emotions and hard work that project MTA ITALIA towards a unique project of its kind: to create a motorcycle training course that allows young talents to approach the world of motorcycles followed step by step by competent and specialist personnel, in order to to refine their aptitudes and achieve success, in a familiar yet professional environment.

Therefore, MTA ITALIA gives life to a structure that will see it present from the Italian minimoto championship, up to the Moto3 World Championship, passing through the CEV and the CIV, all led by the many years of experience of the ex-rider of the world championship Alessandro Tonucci, current Team Manager .

We return to the world championship with two jewels of the riders’ market: Iván Ortolá and Stefano Nepa.

At the renamed Junior GP, instead, MTA RACING lined up the Basque star Xabier Zurutuza and the rookie Kotaro Uchiumi.
